/** Node.js development — JavaScript on the backend, real-time by default */

Node.js development for apps that need to move fast.

Node lets us use one language across your whole stack, which means fewer handoffs and faster iteration. It's our default for APIs, real-time features, and anything that benefits from a large, fast-moving package ecosystem.

What we build

Node.js, applied.

✓

REST & GraphQL APIs

Fast backend services powering web and mobile apps alike.

✓

Real-time features

Live chat, notifications, dashboards — anything that needs to update without a page refresh.

✓

Full-stack JavaScript apps

One language, front to back — usually paired with React or Vue on the client side.

✓

Serverless functions

Lightweight, event-driven backend logic deployed without managing a full server.

Is it the right fit?

When Node.js is the right call — and when it isn’t.

Node is at its best when a lot of connections are open at once and each one is doing comparatively little work: live dashboards, chat and notifications, order and delivery tracking, and JSON APIs feeding a web or mobile front end. Because the server and the browser both run JavaScript, one team can work across the whole stack and share validation logic instead of writing it twice. Where Node struggles is heavy computation in the request path — large image or video processing, report generation over millions of rows, or anything that pins a CPU — because that work blocks the event loop and slows every other request. Those jobs belong in a background worker or a different runtime, and we will design for that rather than pretend the problem away.

FAQ

Common questions

What's Node.js good for that other backends aren't?
Real-time features and I/O-heavy workloads — chat, live updates, streaming data — plus using one language across the whole team.
Do you use plain Node or a framework?
Usually Express or Next.js, depending on whether the project is a pure API or a full application with its own frontend.
Is Node.js good for high-traffic apps?
Yes, particularly for I/O-bound workloads. For CPU-heavy processing we'll flag it if a different tool is a better fit.
