No. We can manage your site on the host you already use, or set up better hosting in your business’s name. Either way, you own the account.
Who owns my domain, hosting and website files?
You do. We register and set up accounts in your business’s name and add ourselves as managers, so you can leave at any time and take everything with you.
How often do you update WordPress and plugins?
Regularly, on a schedule that fits the site, with security patches applied quickly. Updates are tested before they go live so they don’t break your pages.
Where are backups stored?
Offsite, separate from your hosting account, so a problem with the host or a hacked site doesn’t take your backups with it.
Can you maintain a site you didn’t build?
Yes. We start with a short audit to see what’s installed, what’s out of date and who controls the domain and hosting, then fix the urgent items first.
