Joomla — more built-in structure than WordPress, less overhead than Drupal.
Joomla sits between WordPress and Drupal in complexity — stronger native support for multi-language sites and user access levels than WordPress out of the box, without Drupal's steeper setup curve. We mostly work with it for existing Joomla sites rather than recommending it for new builds.

When Joomla is the right call — and when it isn’t.
In practice, most of our Joomla work is inherited rather than chosen: an organisation has a Joomla site that still does its job, and the question is whether to maintain it or move on. Maintaining is often the right answer. If the site works, your team knows it, and the content structure suits you, there is no virtue in rebuilding for its own sake — we can keep it updated, secure and performing. The case for migrating is about the future rather than the present: the community has shrunk considerably, fewer developers work with Joomla each year, and extension support is thinner than it was. If you are planning significant new functionality, that is usually the moment to move to WordPress rather than invest further.
